What's New¶
ConnectGain changes most weeks. There are two places to see what changed, and the full history is on this page.
The what's-new message¶
The first time you open ConnectGain after an update, a short message tells you what is new in that release. It lists only the things you would notice — a new screen, a button that moved, something that used to fail and now does not.
It appears once per release. Close it and it will not come back until the next one. If you did not see it, you have not missed anything: everything it said is in the history below.
The release notes page¶
Release notes in the top bar opens the same history as a public web page, month by month. It opens in a new tab in your workspace's language, and you can share the link with anyone, including people without a ConnectGain account.
Use it to catch up after time away, check when something arrived, or filter to one area — Messaging, AI, Calls and meetings, Sales and CRM, Scheduling, Automation, or Team and admin.
Choosing whether we tell you¶
Settings → Profile → Notifications → Product updates controls whether we email you or send a notification when something new ships. It is on by default and you can switch it off at any time; every announcement email also carries a link straight to that switch.
It is a separate setting from Task emails. Turning off task reminders does not stop product updates, and turning off product updates does not stop your task reminders — they are different kinds of message and you decide on each one separately.
Switching it off does not hide this page or the what's-new message; it only stops us contacting you about a release.
When it arrives¶
Monday morning, and only when there is something to tell you. A week in which nothing shipped is a week you hear nothing — we would rather you notice the email than learn to ignore it.
It covers the previous seven days: three or four headline changes, a short list underneath, and a link to everything else. On a busy week the email deliberately does not list all of it; the release notes page does.
What the announcement email contains¶
The email carries the headline changes for the month — three or four things worth knowing about, each in a sentence — then a shorter list of the smaller ones, then a link to the full history.
It arrives in Arabic and English, one after the other, in the same message. Arabic comes first. This is deliberate: ConnectGain does not store which language you read, so rather than guess and send half the people something they cannot read, every announcement carries both. Scroll past the first block to reach the other language. Each block has its own link to turn these emails off, so it does not matter which one you are reading.
If you also use the mobile app, the same announcement arrives as a push notification. That one is a single line in Arabic, because a notification has room for one language only.
What is listed, and what is not¶
Release notes describe what changed for you: a feature you can use, a screen that behaves differently, a problem that is now fixed.
Small corrections and background work are not listed one by one. A month that looks quiet was not a quiet month — most of the work behind a product like this is invisible by design.
If an entry does not match what you see on screen, tell us. A release note that describes something that did not happen is a bug in its own right.
September 2026¶
The month ConnectGain started answering questions, taking calls, and writing up your meetings.
- Ask ConnectGain — ask a question in plain language and get an answer from the documentation, with a link to the page it came from. It answers in your workspace's language whichever language you typed in, and explains your own routing and channel setup rather than a generic manual.
- Minutes of Meeting — record a meeting and get written minutes: attendees, decisions, requirements, risks and action items, as a document you can edit and export. Every point links back to the moment in the recording it came from. You can also upload a meeting you recorded elsewhere.
- The softphone now reliably receives incoming calls, rings out loud, and notifies you even in a background tab. Every call is logged, including calls to numbers you never saved, with a Recent tab for one-tap redial.
- Call recordings are deleted automatically once your retention period passes. Transcripts and minutes stay.
- When WhatsApp hides a customer's number, their username is shown instead, and you can ask them for a number in one tap.
- If a WhatsApp number is blocked from sending, the inbox says so plainly and tells you what to fix. You can manage your WhatsApp display name inside ConnectGain.
- A comment and a direct message from the same person are now one conversation.
- Conversations are shared by how busy an agent is right now, not by a lifetime total, so an old backlog no longer freezes someone out of new work.
- Approvals — pause an automation until a person approves it.
- Task reminders reach your phone and open the task when tapped. Task notifications by email and WhatsApp, switched on per workspace then per person.
- Connect Microsoft 365 for Outlook calendar and to-do sync.
August 2026¶
Publishing became dependable, Telegram grew up, and customers in Egypt can pay in their own currency.
- Telegram conversations are keyed correctly per chat, and contacts are created automatically.
- TikTok warns you at connection time if the account is not a Business account, with a guide to switching.
- Scheduled social posts got a full reliability pass, plus publishing to TikTok and Telegram and a notification whenever a post fails.
- Team Chat — internal messaging between team members, without leaving ConnectGain.
- Bot flow replies got roughly six times faster.
- Customers in Egypt are charged in Egyptian pounds through a local provider.
July 2026¶
Bookings grew up, every screen learned 14 languages, and leads started arriving on their own.
- Booking confirmations and pre-meeting reminders over WhatsApp and SMS.
- Book a meeting with several attendees at once; connect more than one Google Calendar; choose the meeting subject your invitees see.
- Leads from Meta Lead Ads forms flow straight into contacts and deals.
- Connecting Instagram and Facebook is far more reliable, and when a Page cannot be connected you are told why.
- The sales report gains performance breakdowns and CSV export. Closed deals show how long they took to win or lose.
- Channel Simulator — test a bot flow end to end without messaging a real customer. You can also turn past chat history into FAQs, then into a bot flow.
- Give a whole team access to a channel instead of granting it person by person.
- Every screen and dialog translated, with right-to-left layouts audited.
June 2026¶
Replies that write themselves, and a deal list that stays clean.
- Reply Assistant — suggested replies written from your own conversation history, with nothing to configure. Upload your own documents and the suggestions start sounding like your business.
- Messages from the same phone number land in one conversation, whether or not you had saved the number.
- Duplicate deals are spotted automatically and can be merged singly or in bulk.
- ConnectGain speaks 14 languages, with full right-to-left support for Arabic and Urdu.
May 2026¶
- Find and merge duplicate contacts in bulk, with a record of every merge.
- Bounced email addresses are tracked, so you stop sending to mailboxes that no longer exist.
April 2026¶
- Social Media Planner — schedule posts to your connected social accounts from one calendar.
- Teams — group people together and grant channel access to a whole team.
- Drip sequences gain automatic unsubscribe links and daily sending limits.
- Alerts when a channel connection needs attention.
March 2026¶
- Call Intelligence — calls are recorded, transcribed and analysed, so you can read a call instead of re-listening to it. Call minutes are tracked against your plan, with top-ups when you need more.
- Sequences — multi-step drip campaigns, each step scheduled on its own.
- Give each person access to specific channels only.
January 2026¶
- A knowledge base your AI assistant answers from, so replies match how your business actually works, plus an internal AI assistant your team can ask.
- Task automation rules, with escalation when a task is missed.
- A deal can have several assignees and several linked contacts.
December 2025¶
- Deal ownership changes are recorded, so you can see who held a deal and when.
- Login schedules — restrict sign-in to a person's working hours.
November 2025¶
The workspace widened: projects, email, and the tools around the inbox.
- Project management — projects, milestones, deliverables, status reports and daily logs.
- Email as a channel — connect a mailbox, send and receive, and see opens and clicks.
- Companies — group contacts under the business they belong to.
- Support tickets with SLA tracking, attendance tracking, in-app notifications, API keys for your own integrations, and a Zoom connection.
October 2025¶
- Broadcast campaigns — message a segment of your contacts at once.
- Roles — owner, admin, agent and more, each seeing only what they should.
- Subscription plans and billing.
September 2025¶
The month ConnectGain became the product you use today: one inbox, a CRM behind it, and bots that can answer for you.
- One inbox for every channel — conversations and messages from all your connected accounts in a single place, with saved message templates.
- Contacts, deals and pipelines, plus tasks.
- Bot flows — build an automated conversation and see exactly what it did on every run.
- Workspaces, so a business and its team share one account.
February 2025¶
- Browser push notifications.
January 2025¶
- Webhooks — send events to your own systems, with a log of every delivery.
- Invite teammates by email, and arrange your dashboard yourself.
- Automatic contact tagging.
November 2024¶
Our first release: let people book time with you, without the back-and-forth.
- Public booking pages — publish your availability and let people book a slot themselves.
- Event types, availability rules and blocked dates.
- Ask your own questions on the booking form.
- Connect Google Calendar.
Dates before June 2026 are accurate to the month. From June 2026 onward, the public release-notes page carries the exact day each change went live.
